I assume you are talking about accessing the router manually?  If that is the case have you tried user various browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome)?  You should also try resetting the router (by power cycling it) and if you still can't access the router try a manual factory reset if there is one.

Kukra,

Are you sure that you have the right IP address?  Usually Linksys uses 192.168.1.1

Can you go to a command prompt (Start Menu->Run and type "cmd") and check your Default Gateway by typing "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) and posting your results?

I see you are using the v2 of that router in my program, try the one without the v2 and see if it does anything different.

Also when the page wont load what is the last error message at the bottom of the window that you get?

Okay, we are making some progress now that you have the right address.  Can you do us a favor and post the results when you try the progrom.  The log/script that is shown will really help us troubleshoot more.

That means the simple port forwarding program found WarIII01 already on the page. Take a screen shot of the port forwarding page for me  ;D

Kukra, do you have multiple computers that you are trying to forward this to?  Or are you using 1 computer to do port forwarding to another computer?

Hey! Sorry for not replying soon.
i was busy.

Okay, so now ive updated the program and
everything was ticked
but when i test to see if the ports are open it says it failed.

i also downloaded your great program that tells you if you have 2 modem things
which in this case i have my ISP modem and another router
so i guess this is the problem?

If your ISP modem is also a router then yes that would be the problem  ;D

If it is just follow the directions on the page http://www.pcwintech.com/common-problems-fixes-port-forwarding

And that should get you all set to go, still have trouble just let me know.

Well is your router is the only thing hooked to the modem it should be the only LAN client in the list  ;D

So, enable DMZ, choose the router in the LAN client list, and save.

Now go back to my port tester in the program and see how it goes.  8)
