CleanMem UI doesn't properly handle High DPI
« on: November 29, 2017, 05:05:33 PM »
I recently upgraded to a 4k display.  When running CleanMem Mini Monitor, UI elements are scaled very inconsistently.  For example, tabs are very small.  Also, tray icon "Show Memory Used" ... the font is scaled very wrong (way too large).

A not-so-desirable workaround is to right-click on the app's executable, go to Properties->Compatibility, then enable "Override high DPI scaling behavior" then select "Scaling performed by: System"

But all this does is 'trick' the app into thinking the Windows DPI is much lower than what it actually is.  Then we end up with upscaled and fuzzy or pixelated UI elements.

Any plans to fix this?   Thank you!

- It has been a long time since the last update was issued.
- What was the latest DPI & screen size you used previously and what are the numbers for your current system/screen ? I'll will pass this on when you can provide these details.
