1 of 2 laptops on same wifi-network keeps losing connectivity
« on: February 02, 2016, 04:30:56 AM »
Hi everyone,

At home we have 2 laptops connected over wifi to a modem/router. Since a few weeks, 1 of the 2 laptops has begun losing connectivity.  One always remains connected to the wireless network, but on the other the wifi keeps disappearing.  It will go offline, and the network won't even show up on the list of available networks (even though the other laptop, 2 smartphones, and 1 iPad all remain connected to said network). We have to walk the 2nd laptop directly up to the Router, wait, and it eventually finds the network and connects again.  This happens every 20 minutes or so.  It is a new router.....but laptop 1 NEVER has connectivity problems.  Any ideas what is happening here?
