« on: January 22, 2015, 08:35:05 PM »
Hey, so I am trying to set up a minecraft server. I have both manually tried to port forward and through Simple Port Forwarding. Each time I test it out, I constantly still get failed. I have tried everything thing I can think of... I am so frustrated about this cause everyone seems to make this seem easy.... Please help

Post 2 screen shots for me.

1. A screen shot of the port forwarding page in the router
2. A screen shot of the results of my port tester program.

Lets go from there

I need a screen shot of the port tester results in my program, not the main windows of the simple port forwarding program :-)

Also in the port forwarding rule, the external IP should be blank. Edit the rule and remove that IP. Only the local Ip in the rule should have an Ip address.

Did you make sure that minecraft was closed when you tested it?

Also, make sure there are no port filtering, port triggering rules in the router and that DMZ is off
