The default user name is admin and the default password is admin.

To change the wireless encryption and or wireless password you need to go to Wireless -> Security.

To change the router's control password from the default (or what it is now), in the router you need to go to Modem Setup -> Login

Private messages (PM) are not for support questions or for hints to not yet answered topics. The PMs are basically for confident conversation between the users, off the forum.

Still can't login, I have been researching in the internet and found out that the way to change the password was to browse your IP in a browser. But what do you mean about that. Is it the one in the toolbar?

If your ISP changed the default login then you will need to call them to get it. If they didnt change it and someone else changed the login you will have to do a factory reset to it, which you dont want to do unless you have the info you need to put back into it after, if it is DSL you will need your dsl login info to put into it normally
