My wife thought this would be a good present for me so I did some looking. Looks like it plugs directly into an HDTV. I don't have that, just a regular old TV with DirectTv and their router. Anybody know if Chromecast would work?

Havent used it myself so i dont know, did you check the guide with it to see if it can use adapters to hook to older tvs?
