New Tool Request
« on: December 13, 2014, 02:18:43 PM »
I asked SIW.exe to add this to their technicians program.

Can you write a macro script that would show all the old greyed out drivers that are no longer used in the device manager and give you the capability to delete and purge out all the old drivers as a batch delete.  There can also be an undo.

Thanks

john

That is no easy task, so that might be why they didnt do it themselves.

All that information is stored in the registry and it is a bvetter idea to let Windows device manager remove them, In the device manager you just enable show hidden devices and you will be able to remove any old hardware that is no longer on the system.
