Okay, I have gone through the process of manually setting up a static IP and I have used the Simple Port Forwarding program to forward some ports to my Belkin router. The router has updated just fine, however when I actually use the test function every test fails due to time out, so the ports are still closed.

And I just realized that it never even truly forwarded those ports...
Actually the program added one port to be forwarded. One out of fourteen. And I updated the router again after I tested it the first time...

Any ideas as to how I should correct this?

EDIT:

I updated the firmware on the router just in case and that caused the Simple Port Forwarding program to fail to add any entries into the router's tables. No idea what's going on...

spf works by reading the html of a page and getting the names of the text boxes, page names and so fourth. Normally a new firmware doesn't change these settings, unless for some reason they redid the port forwarding page.

Use the router screen capture program of mine and get every page of the router.
Also contact me by the contact form and we can get on msn or yahoo and get everything working right. Im heading to bed and will be working all day tomorrow, so if your on tomorrow night we can do this.

Talk to you soon
