Hiya i have a Netgear WNR1000V3 router that I'm having trouble forwarding port's with your software and was hoping for some help if possible. Everything ran through perfectly and added the rules into the router, they aren't showing up as open with the port checker though.

I just have the one router and i have triple checked I'm using the correct router ip address. There seems to be no built in firewall for the router that i can find or find information on and i have tested with windows firewall both on and off ... the firewall seems to not be corrupt works fine. There are no multiple forwarding rules and DMZ is turned off.

Not sure if it's a pro feature only but i cannot use the tools menu - windows firewall port exceptions feature ... it's just blanked out. I'm running malwarebytes and avast anti virus, is there any settings in avast that need looking at normally?

Would really appreciate any ideas to try or things i may have missed  :cheesy: Forums

#1 Forward the ports to your computer.

#2 Post the following screen shots

a) Showing how you forwarded your ports in the router.

b) The results of this port tester

(Or if on a Mac computer, A screen shot of the results of the simple-port-tester for mac.)

Also, just to make sure, in the netgear go to the basic settings page or the internet setup page, there it should show the WAN IP it has, does it match the IP on this page?
