Windows 7 School Pc
« on: July 21, 2014, 01:50:08 PM »
I was working in a class room setting up a computer for the teacher working in there. I plugged in a computer that was on the shelf and it failed to boot. It then ran System Recovery and asked for a product code but I didn't know it since it is a school pc. Now it keeps on saying that copy of windows is not genuine. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Also, I wont be able to reply immediately since my internet is out.

The key codes are normally on a sticker on the case itself. If it isnt then you have to find out who installed windows and ask where the key code is at. If it is a computer made for the school itself they will most likely have that information protected and no sticker on the case.
