Using Ignore List
« on: July 01, 2014, 07:37:43 PM »
I understand that Cleanmem comes with an ignore list feature, but I'm not too sure which programs to add to the list. I have my video player, music player, and defrag tool added to the list already. Should I add my games or my antivirus to the list? Are there any programs that I have on my list that I shouldn't?

That is up to you. I have never found a reason to add anything to the ignore list. I play heavy 3d games all the time and cleanmem doesn't cause even a single bump. Everything happens in memory which moves 10+ GB a sec.

I'm currently using 8GB of RAM and haven't noticed the program affecting performance, but when I ran it with 4GB, my songs seemed to skip frequently. Not sure if this was coincidence or the program.

I have used it with systems that only had 2 GB of ram and never had it skip during music at all.

Heck even when I play heavy 3d games at max settings the game doesnt even miss a beat while playing.

Now when I play my music I am playing mp3s in my player, are you playing music that way or streaming it through a web browser?
