Port forwarding

Dear
               Hope you doing well , this is about port forwarding ,I have new STC Modem ,i cant forward port as the public Ip in the modem is different than the whatsmyip. I even cannot ping this IP as well. Any suggestions

What is the exact brand and model of this router?

Do you have 2 routers? If not then your ISP has you behind a 2nd network on their end which will block any port forwarding.

If that is the case normally the only way out of that 2nd network is to buy a static internet IP from them. :wink:
