Really hoping that someone has had a similar issue:

Just bought an Airport Time Capsule which is connected to a Cisco router that is now in bridge-mode.

I'm using a 2009 MBP, firewall is off, everything works as it should EXCEPT for Soulseek.

I cannot download music because Soulseek tells me my listening port is closed.

I went to the excellent help page posted here: http://www.pcwintech.com/common-problems-fixes-port-forwarding

I ran through a few steps, but no luck. It can't be problems 1 or 2, because the old modem is in bridge mode, no there's no new IP address generated.

On the firewall side, my OSX firewall is and has been off, and the Airport Time Capsule doesn't have much of a firewall that I can tinker with.

I called Apple, who instructed me to add the port numbers in manually, which I did (see screen cap here): http://i.imgur.com/euV8Sz8.png

I updated Airport, then restarted Soulseek and again: "Your router and/or Soulseek client needs to be configured correctly. "

To make matters worse, I'm so not-tecksavvy so I have no idea what i'm doing through all of it.

Can anyone point out something I can try, a step I forgot??

#1 Forward the ports to your computer.

#2 Post 2 screen shots for us.

a) A screen shot of the port forwarding page in the router
b) A screen shot of the results of this port tester
http://www.pcwintech.com/simple-port-tester

(Or if on a Mac computer, A screen shot of the results of the simple-port-tester for mac.)

Lets go from there :-)

For the screen shot of the port forwarding page, go to one of the rules themselves and click edit so I can see the port and IP they are pointing to and then the screen shot of my port tester program :-)
