Installing with multiple accounts (1 admin & 2 standard)
« on: December 04, 2013, 06:26:38 PM »
Dear Sir

I have installed your program (using an admin acct) without a hitch but one thing puzzles me. During the installation I selected the option to "Make shortcuts available to all users".

When I log in to a standard acct, windows prompts me for an admin password everytime I ran SIM Lite.

How can I start SIM lite without windows prompting me for the admin password? Or is this a windows thing?

By the way, this SIM lite is great!
TIA
Vince

It is because the program needs admin rights to read the network and write to the database file for the stats.

Thats why I have the program use the task manager for loading up at windows startup. That way you can start the program under another account that has admin rights and it will still run for the standard user :-)
