« on: October 08, 2013, 02:14:45 AM »
On Windows 7 I can view the Home Group password and it is different on the two systems.
Two part Question 1 -- what do I do with the password? Why are they different?
Question 2 -- How do I view the password on XP?

Personally I just turn off password sharing on my local network. I have no need for it to have a password and makes things much easier.

Although the password is displayed I guess I don't need it since the advanced settings show that "password protected sharing" is turned off.

So I guess we can close this one. Thanks once again.
