Extern HDD
« on: August 19, 2013, 02:13:49 AM »
Hi, Shane!
Thank you again for helping me with the port forwarding problem a while ago. I was so sad because I could not remember this forum s name, and today I found it! Yay!!!

Shane, can I ask for your opinion before buying an extern hdd?
I want to buy an extern hdd only for keeping my stuff and backup. I will not travel with it. It will be like an usb, and will plug it in when need it.
I don t know what to choose between these one:
HDD extern Western Digital My Book Essential 2 TB USB 3.0 (3,5 inch, AC power not via usb)
HDD extern Western Digital Elements Desktop 2TB Black (3.5 inch, usb 2.0 interface, AC power not via usb)
Hard disk extern WD Elements Desktop 2TB black (3,5 inch, usb 2.0 interface, AC power not via usb)
Hard disk extern Seagate Expansion 2TB 3.5 inch USB 3.0 black (3,5 inch, usb 3.0 interface, AC power not via usb)

Can you please tell me your opinion?
Thank you in advance.

I go with western digital. I gave up on seagate a long time ago.

As for the WD, go with the one that has the best warranty :-)
