Apexis j011 problems
« on: August 12, 2013, 12:23:18 PM »
Thanks again for helping me but things have gone astray ever since you updated to the latest firmware level. The ipcams had to be reset and i tried to restore the ip numbers that you assigned during the teamviewer session but unfortunately i did not record the session. When i go to the wireless settings drop down list no entries appear, just like last time. I have made a subsequent donation via Paypal for further assistance. Regards, Dave

The following is a reminder of my original post:

I have 2 Apexis Ipcameras, model # APM-j011-WS, that work fine on the lan/wi-fi but when i disconnect the rj-45 cables from the cams to the modem/router i lose both their signals. Both have been port forwarded successfully. I use the current version of Blue Iris software and the current software versions of Apexis Ipcameratools & Ipcamerafinder.

I need your help because I don't know what else to do. What type of a donation would it take for you to provide realtime assistancee in getting these cams to work beyond the lan/wi-fi?  Please advise. Regards, Dave

Last time it didnt work because you needed to change a couple of settings for the wireless.

In the router make sure the wireless is set to 54mbps and in the cameras that wireless password security is set to wpak2 AES not TKIP

I made another donation thru Paypal. Is it enough to have one more quick connection thru teamviewer to repeat the changes you made? I will record the session so I can have a record of the fixes. Thanks again, Dave

Sorry for the late reply. I just had a vasectomy done on Tues, so took that last day off :-)

Send me an email and I will help you again like last time.
