Stealth Firewalled
« on: June 17, 2013, 04:06:31 PM »
Hello!
I feel I am nearing wits end.
Have an SMA 7004ABR router (old) and an actiontec GT701D Modem, DSL.
I have tried what seems like everything for several weeks, but my port of choice remains closed as reported by the torrent tracker and simpleportforwarding softward. Also my connection in (WinXP Settings>Control Panel>Network Connections says firewalled right on it.
I may be behind two routers, but the directions for what to do in such an instance do not make any sense.
Can someone take pity on me and help me get my ports forwarded? I cannot afford ipconfig, which somoene recommended.
Yours and thanks.

Not sure why you are having trouble with my directions :-)

1. Log into the SMA
2. Find the page that shows what WAN IP it has.
3. Log into the GT701D
4. Find the DMZ page, put the WAN IP from the SMA in, enable and save.

All done :-)
