AVG has a firewall in it if it isnt the free version.

When you first ran the dvr program did anything pop up ask permission?

Shane

Yes. I run my profile just as a plain user and run an admin profile too. So when I run the dvr program the admin requires a password

Did it ask to install a active x control?

I am not sure if I did or didnt? Is that something that would have come with the Digimerge software?

No, when you tried it in IE, IE should have popped up a yellow toolbar asking to install a active x control.

You need to let it install otherwise you get a blank screen.
