Issues with unknown log in and password...
« on: February 25, 2013, 10:52:53 PM »
I get this message that is in the pic...
I dont know what user name and password it is looking for. It has my windows pic so I tried my windows log in. Nope, no workie. I entered my user info from the black box, again not what is was looking for. I enter my Verizon info, to no avail. I enter the dsl modem essid and wep key, wrong again...
I called my internet provider (Verizon) with the question and he had no answer for this issue.
I hope someone out there can help me with this! I am not computer savvy at all and I am at a loss. I was hoping to use my smart phone to adjust my cameras. Im starting to give up hope...

That is just the login for your router that it is asking for. Same as if you logged into your router in IE.

Normal passwords for verizon is admin and password1

Tech support should know this, you just have to ask them what is the password to log into the modem.
