Private messages (PM) are not for support questions or for hints to not yet answered topics. The PMs are basically for confident conversation between the users, off the forum.

That is because a lot of routers dont support reverse nat.

I think I know what is going on.

I point to http://www.pcwintech.com/ -> Routers -> Router Help -> How to test if your router supports Reverse NAT

So that means that when your on the same network you have to use the local IP. When outside your network is when you use your internet IP

The only ones that I am aware of are business grade dsl modems and routers.

Why is it a problem to just use your local IP when behind your router and the internet IP when outside it?
