Port Forwarding !!!
« on: November 27, 2012, 02:12:52 PM »
Hello Guys , SO I have decided to play Borderlands 2 using LAN !! And so installed Tunngle and my game was able to detect only 2 to 3 games even if there were a 100 people online in that game room !! So , i figured out that  " Port fowarding " is the problem !!

What is did was , I) Made my dynamic IP to be a Static IP !!
II) Forward that IP in my router's setup page !!
III) Made an exception in firewall !

Now , in a port checking page , my IP still varies [even after i changed it in the adapter settings to a particular IP ]
and the port remains closed !!

What have i done wrong here ??? Plz help !!

Lets take a look at what you set up so far :-)

Post 2 screen shots for me.

1. A screen shot of the port forwarding page in the router
2. A screen shot of the results of my port tester program

Of course make sure the game is closed when you use the port tester as the port tester will open the port on your system and listen for a connection from my site.

Lets go from there
