update router login
« on: November 14, 2012, 08:44:56 PM »
I have recently added this "app" to get a Tekkit server up and running. i have done everything instructed to install the server but i now need to update my router. in the home screen, it shows "update router" at the bottom right hand side. I clicked this then it asked me for my username and password. I have no clue which username and password this is. I have tried all of my usernames and passwords but it just denies every one of them. Can you please help me understand what this is.

Thank you

It is your router asking for the username and password to login.

What router do you have? I can give you the default login info for your model and see if that works.

Take a look at your router, it should say what model it is on a sticker on the bottom of it.

Also the default login for all netgears is

user name: admin
password: password

Good to hear :-)

Since you got it working I will lock this thread

And as always...
If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I help with anything computer or network related :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.
And a facebook like at the top of the page of my site is nice as well. ;)
