Cleanmem maximum Free Memory
« on: October 09, 2012, 12:05:53 AM »
Hi Shane
I noticed that when I run cleanmem I get total memory available of about 436 to 438(free memory) it used to go to 440 free memory,is this a problem?

Aso the mini monitor when I hover my mouse over it says I have total  memory of 509.984 installed but in system info I have 512 megs installed-any reason it says this? I have used some 3rd party system info tools and some say 509 while others sat 512 megs of installed ram?

Thanks
Rod

Cleanmem only gets the memory a process isnt using any more. You simply have processes that are still using a little more memory.

Sounds like you have onboard video. That video uses the memory installed on the system, so it will show less memory for Windows
