Noob here, PuTTy keep saying "Connection Refused"
« on: October 06, 2012, 09:15:30 AM »
Hello, first post here, and I'm a bit of a noob so please excuse me.

So when i open PuTTy on Window XP Home, and I typed in my IP address and all that, and open it, and I keep getting the "Connection Refused" error. What can I do to solve this? I have a Belkin Wireless adapter and a Belkin router if it factors in anything.

I'm doing this to install Cydia on my jailbroken iOS 6.

Thanks in advance.

Shouldnt you be putting the local IP of the ios 6 device and not your IP into putty?

You are trying to connect to it, not yourself
