How does one upload the zip file?
« on: October 05, 2012, 06:59:21 PM »
It told me to upload the zip file from Router Screen Capture to the site.

But I must be missing something: How do I do that?

Sure I can upload the zip file to this message board publicly (not PM/IM ), but then unless I edit the screen shots the info, my private info will be shown to everyone.

As you said on http://www.pcwintech.com/router-screen-capture
Quote
Check and blur out any information on the screens such as IP addresses and such

Thanks.

The program tells you how to upload them when you capture the screens. You need to make sure to read it lol

Ok, thanks.

I submitted the screens for my router.

I was wondering:

Did you receive the screen shots for my Westell-F90-610015-06?

Thanks

PS. I tried to PM/IM you the serial number and MAC Address of it, but your board would not let me. :(

Yes I got the westell added. If you had your email with it I would have emailed you. So make sure to check your spam box :-)

I typed in the wrong e-mail address, <bangs head on wall>  :teeth:

If you need to contact me, please contact me using the e-mail address that you have on file for this message board (or PM/IM me - as long as I can PM/IM you back).

Thanks.

Oh, ok.

Do I have to have the modem combo handle the public IP OR can I leave it not handling the public IP ?

By not handling the public IP, I mean it is setup for Bridge-Bridge mode as suggested at DSLR (dslreports.com) -> FAQs -> Verizon Online DSL FAQ -> Hardware -> How do I use a router with the Westell 6100?.

Thanks

If your going to be behind 2 routers then one way is bridge mode, or you can do it safer this way

I knew that and I also know of another way to get rid of Double NAT besides putting a modem combo into bridge mode if one has a router.

I want to know if to test your program, if the modem combo has to handle the public IP or not.

Thanks.

Ok, sorry about that. I thought with the free program one could use the database of programs to forward with.

I will post in other thread(s) about the routers that I have that are listed in your program that do not work with your program.

You can now lock this thread, since the issue is solved.
