Win 7 Memory usage
« on: September 08, 2012, 07:40:11 AM »
After some googling I came across this (interesting) article:
http://www.zdnet.com/blog/bott/windows-7-memory-usage-whats-the-best-way-to-measure/1786

I am not too familiar with all these (resource monitors). As far as I can understand this article, win 7 tries to keep the memory as full as possible with parts of programs and caches thereby ensuring that all this info/data can be used/processed as fast as possible. Win 7 doesn't seem to want to write too much info/data to the harddisk. A good reason to have sufficient memory in one's computer.
