Vonage is so annoying! Anyway, I do not know how to give a router a static Ip.

OK on the main page in the linksys you will see the IP is set to Auto. Change it to static. Then put in this info

IP: 192.168.15.250
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.15.1
DNS: 192.168.15.1

Now in the vonage set DMZ to 192.168.1.250

Lets see if it stops complaining about a static IP :-)

I changed all the settings and entered 192.168.15.250 on vonage, (it wont let me do 192.168.1.250) and it still said not static ip. I reset my router and still didnt work.

Oops should have been 15.250 lol

So even when static it wont hold DMZ? I wonder if they have a firmware update for it.
