Red X means network cable unplugged.

So either the cable is bad or something else is going on.

Is the computer plugged directly into the router or is there a switch or something it plugs into first?

Normally I would say it is either a bad network card or something with windows.

But you did a fresh install and tries another network card! lol

You could always try the other network card in another system just to make 100% sure it is good.

Also, this might seem odd, but worth a shot.

Shut down the computer, once off pull the power cord.

With the power cord out hit the power button a few times. This will drain all the power out of it. This is how you do a proper hardware reset.

After that plug it in and boot up.

Very VERY odd.

Have you tried taking the system to a friends house and seeing is it works at another location?

Yep did it today still dont work :( seems like the best thing to do is to buy a new motherboard. afterall it's not exactly new and probably needs to update the things in the computer aswell so guess thats the best becouse this issue seems to be very wierd.

The fact that you took it to a different location and it still had the trouble means the problem is somewhere in the system.

I would try the power supply first. If that doesnt work then the MB it is

What is really odd is how you put in a network card and didn't use the onboard network that was part of the mother board and it still didn't work!

But the fact that you put that card into another system and it was fine does point that something is wrong with the motherboard.
