« on: July 08, 2012, 06:15:08 PM »
Shane,

How do I get avast to scan email for outlook when connected to hotmail via hotmail connector using mapi server? I have it working for my gmail acount for the usual smtp connection but I don't see anything for mapi in avast.

From what I understand it works with it just fine. It doesnt connect to outlook it scans it through the network.

I use Thunderbird and there is no add on in Thunderbird. It is checked before it gets to it, similar to how a firewall would do it

They both are scanned as they come in through the network, at least I think they are, that's the info I pulled up researching it lol
