Port Forwarding - Not working

I completed port forwarding.  When I run the test connection.  I get Internet Explorer cannot display web page.  I have read through many many posts.  I don't know what to try.

Sounds like you didnt put the correct IP of the DVR in :wink:

Post 2 screen shots for me.

1. A screen shot of the port forwarding page int he router (This will let me check if the rules are correct)
2. A screen shot of the network settings in the DVR itself. (This will let me confirm the IP and ports it is using)

Lets go from there :-)

I see the problem :-)

You have the port forwarding rule set for port 80

But the DVR i set to use 8080 and 9000 :wink:

Get those ports added and let me know and I will try to connect. :wink:

You will connect locally in IE like this http://192.168.1.8:8080

Shane.  I added port 8080 and 9000.  When I try to connect locally in IE to http://192.168.1.8:8080. It takes me to the DVR viewer, but doesn't really connect.

I put your internet IP in that you posted under and I get the DVR login screen.

So the port forwarding is working  :wink:

I do get to the log in screen, but I get a cannot connect error.

Try rebooting the DVR and if you have to you may need to call lorex to see if it needs any other ports open :wink:
