Windows Task Manager
« on: May 04, 2012, 12:03:27 AM »
I have Windows 7. Task Manager seems to have gone awry. When it loads I do not have the 3 lines across the top (Windows Task Manager - File, Options, etc. - Applications, processes, etc.). All I have is the "Task' line followed by the current applications. Then the three buttons across the bottom (End Task, etc.). No bottom line showing processes, cpu usage, etc.

I have rebooted (several times) to no avail.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just double click on the task manger right before the border. That will bring it back

I'm guessing 'before the border'  means up at the top of the Task Manager display where it says 'Windows Task Manager' then over to the right where it has the min, max, and close icons.  Well that 'stuff' is not there. All that is in my display is 'Task' and then a list of the running tasks.
