Hi!
I'm having a problem: I can't connect to PSN or internet in general with my PS3.
Odd thing though, as I could perfectly play last week and all.
Here's the deal: When I try to connect, I get a DNS error. I always connected through the "Easy" mode, which is the automatic one, no need for configuration and all. I'm using an Ethernet connection.
I decided to go Easy again, this time I timed out trying to obtain an IP address. Huh. So I went manual. I gave my PS3 an static IP, and set the DNS servers my PC is using. When testing connection, I did obtain the IP adress, but then the DNS error showed up.
So if I try to go automatic, I don't obtain IP, but if I go manual I do get the IP and fail with the DNS.
I'm using the lamest router ever, ZTE ZXV100 W300, but it worked just fine until a couple of days ago.
Also, I can connect through Wi-Fi just fine, but Ethernet is a million times superior so, I'd like to know if I could do anything to overcome this problem.
Thanks in advance!
