Firefox Portable Question
« on: March 17, 2012, 01:06:46 PM »
Hi
I use firefox portable on my local drive and the question is I keep a backup copy on a storage drive-the firefox folder has 1000 files and 252 folders,I have maybe 8 addons, when I compare the 2 firefox folders the one I use keeps getting larger in file size,I clean my cache and cookies, what would cause the folder to get more files? Is it the extensions doing things?I replace the one from my storage drive then that one gets larger and sometimes it gets smaller??
Just wondering-they both work fine and I dont update the addons as they are all up to date for firefox 3.6.

I have no virus or spyware just seems odd-any insight?

Sounds like old cache files that are not being removed. See if you can find where the most number of files is
