errors
« on: March 13, 2012, 06:28:11 AM »
Hi Shane

Have you ever seen these errors in event viewer before? Iv clicked event log online help, but that doesn't give me enough information to either fix it or let it go. My system runs fine, no noticeable problems, just want to clean up the errors.

Looks to be just a performance data error, nothing that will hurt the system.

Something to due with readyboost. The service is enabled (for readyboot to work, it's my understanding it runs off the readyboost service). In the past I had to restore my pc because I deleted everything in prefetch folder and the readyboot folder inside would not repopulate with the .etl trace files. With that said no new traces have been done since november of last year. I'm thinking thats why I'm getting errors for this every couple of hours or so

Turning off the readyboost service cures the error. I guess it reported errors because there is no performance data to collect, because I wasn't using readyboost (just a guess).
