NO, an IP should never have leading 0's. I hate that the DVR list it that way.

What http port is set in the DVR?

I just tried connecting to your internet IP and got the DVR login age. So it is working :-)

Yet you cant not get to it locally.

On your computer open a command window and put in ipconfig. What IP does your computer have?

I can get to the DVR over the net, yet http://192.168.2.2 doesn't work for you?

Have you tried their viewer software instead?

Then you should have the viewer. Did you try loading it?

The internet IP wont work while at home because your router doesnt like reverse nat.
http://www.pcwintech.com/test-for-reverse-nat

So when home you will use the local IP, when outside your home like I am you will use your internet IP
