configuring router for remote monitoring
« on: October 13, 2011, 03:32:40 AM »
i have a router/modem for my internet connection, and i have another router(nuuolink smart router) connected to the WAN port of the internet router/modem. i have configured the nuuolink router with static ip address and enabled DMZ on the internet router, and also set the port forwarding rules. the problem is that i cannot connect to the ipcam on the nuulink smart router remotely.
i would appreciate any pointers to make this work, or am i missing some configurations.

thanks

First thing is lets make sure it is setup correctly.

I am going to need a few screen shots.

1. Screen shot of the network setup for the IP cam (This way I can see its IP and port)
2. Screen shot of the port forwarding page in the router
3. Screen shot of the WAN address in the router.
4. Screen shot of the DMZ in the modem

Lets go from there
