Neat Gear Router
« on: September 24, 2011, 10:13:39 PM »
HI Shane

I have a netgear n300 Wireless Router WNR2000v3. Is there any way I can tweak this for better performance. I upgraded my internet speed to 25 meg, so as you can guess, I'm looking for all I can get in performance. My computer and DVD player are hard wired my Wii is wireless.
Thanks

Shouldn't need to do anything.

A lot of the speed tests at speedtest.net cant get as high as 25mg.

What makes you think it isnt going full speed?

Do you have a Cable or DSL internet connection? If you have a cable connection be sure to use a DOCSIS 3.0 modem if possible.

It's docsis 3.0. It's fast, but hey...why not tweak it.
