Unable to see my lorex when using win7

Hello, i am kind of having the same issue, but my is that i can see the cameras from any computer that has win xp but when it comes to win 7 i can log in fine from any where but i get the black screen, i have play with all the internet settings i have download active x and nothing......i still get the black screen....can you please tell me what is it that im doing wrong .

The active x control doesn't work well with IE9.

So either uninstall IE9 and get back IE8 or see if there is a firmware update for your cameras. The new firmware has an updated active x control :wink:

Shane,

i just downgrade to Internet 8 and nothing i can log in fine but i get no image on my win 7 computer but if i log in to my XP machine i can see everything fine

At the top of the IE address bar, you will see a icon that looks like a broken page. Click that, it is compatibility mode, see if that gets it working for you. :wink:

I have also seen other IE add on's get int he way, so we may need to disable some of those and find the one getting in the way.

in IE gonto tools and manage add ons. disable everything thatnyou dont need. restart IE and see how it does.

Ok try this,
Close IE, go to the control panel and then open internet Options.
Once that is open go to the advanced tab, at the bottom is a reset tab, hit it and have it reset IE back to defaults.

Once that is done open IE, go to tools and manage on adds. And disable everything you don't need, normally keeping java and adobe enabled. Restart IE.

Now try the camera again :wink:
