Tried to port forward, Now can't access router
« on: June 12, 2011, 04:01:37 AM »
Okay, so heres what's happened..
I tried to port forward for gaming, followed instructions online etc. And it didn't work.
So, I went into the settings and ticked a box (forgot what it was called) :/ and now I can't access my router page (192.168.1.1)

Please help. I can't access it on either of my 3 pc's. When I type in 192.168.1.1 into the address bar on either of the pc's it says:

Object Not Found
The requested URL '/' was not found on the RomPager server.

Return to last page

I've tried typing in ping 192.168.1.1 into the CMD and it comes up fine, so the main computer which is connected to the router can see it, but just can't get on the settings page.

Please help.
Thanks,
Sam

Not sure what you changed, but sounds like you will need to do a factory reset on it to put it back to normal.

If it is a dsl box you will need your dsl username and password. Once you reset the modem you wont be online till you put that info back in.

A factory reset will put everything back to defaults and you will be able to log into the router again
