Problems Forwarding Port 25565 UDP
« on: January 22, 2011, 09:13:50 PM »
I'm trying to set up a Minecraft server, but when i try to forward the port needed (25565) only TCP is open (i have it set to do both UDP and TCP). My computer is behind a Linksys WRT300N router and an Actiontec GT701D modem/router. I've read through the "Common Problems & Fixes" page and read some posts on it, but none of those have helped. Can someone please help me?

Your behind 2 routers.
So Problem #1 on

Is the first thing you should do. Once you have the Actiontec DMZ set to the WAN IP of the linksys then your port forwarding rules should be in the linksys and that's all you need to worry about

Let me know how it goes from there
