Can I use my wireless router as an access point?
« on: December 21, 2010, 03:25:45 PM »
I have one regular router, and another router with 4 ports and wireless connection.

Can I plug in the regular router, and then connect it to the wireless router, and make the wireless router work as an access point?

The wireless router's manufacturer's billion, the model is: BiPAC 7300GA

Thanks in advance.

If you just want to add your wireless router to your network then yes, you can attach it to your regular router via wired connection to add an access point to your network.  Instead of that, I would just use the wireless router instead of the regular one.  Unless your "regular" router is also your "modem".
