« on: November 29, 2010, 04:54:35 AM »
Hi there,

Has anyone tried using the Drive Wiper tool found on the latest vers v3.00.1310 of CCleaner? Found it on the tools section but am hesitating to use it.

Thanks,

Dont use CCleaner myself. But I know a lot of people do and it is a good program.

So looks like what it does is simply make sure any old delete files can not be recovered. Only really need to do this if your worried about someone recovering data on your system Which they would need access to your system to even do

If your not worried about old deleted data then I wouldn't worry.
