NAT port 10080 to port 80 - AT PK5000
« on: November 11, 2010, 08:29:35 AM »
I can telnet to my PK5000 and
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp -i ppp0 --dport 21080 -j DNAT --to 192.168.0.46:80
and life is good ... until a power failure or a reboot then it's gone.  I've tried to use the Advanced Port Forwarding on the PK webpage so it will save it "That's not a valid IP".

Do you know how to fix my problem?

Thanks
Chuck

The iptables need to be cleared before you use the port forwarding pages.

You can try to clear it with telnet, or just do a reset on the modem/router. But if you do a reset and your on dsl you will need your dsl username and pass to get back on.

The fact you know how to set a port forwarding rule by telnet tells me you already know how to setup port forwarding through the web interface. IF you could take a screen shot with the rule entered and before you add it so I can see would be great. Then a pic with the error.

I have seen other routers where is telnet was used the port forwarding pages wont work for some reason. Thats why I would like to undo those changes first
