Outlook Express
« on: June 29, 2010, 01:32:58 AM »
I'm a really poor speller so I try to use Outlook Express to check my spelling. Since we got this new desktop Outlook Express doesn't want to do that any more. When I am working on a mail to send and click on 'tools' it shows 'spelling' kind of grayed out and F2 doesn't check spelling either. I poked around in options but didn't see anything there.

Suggestions?

Poking around some more it looks like you have to have MS Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. I don't think I had those on the Gateway but apparently I must have. So I guess there is no fix for this (unless you are aware of a way to get a different speller attached). I use Open Office which comes with a speller but I don't know how to use that with Outlook Express.
