I tried everything from unplugging all comp, modems and routers and reconnecting.  The wireless picks up on my work computer but not my personal computer.  Need help.

What version of Windows are you running on each computer?  Also, are you sure that the wireless adapter in your personal computer is compatible with your wirelss access point or router?

Make sure that you turn off any security software while attempting this as that might be blocking you as well.

Another thing to remember is that you need to use either Window's built in wireless configuration OR software that (possibly) came with the adapter, don't use both.

Also when you view the "View Available Wireless Networks" does anything show up?
