Title: TrendNet/Simple Network
Post by: macnext1 on September 17, 2009, 09:34:16 AM
My TrendNet Router gathers usage data. Is there some way to get this data and add it to the Simple Internet Meter? Now that I my laptop and my DVD are coming into the TrendNet, the usage shown by the Simple Internet Meter isn't telling me the whole story.

There is no way that I can think of, perhaps uPnP might be able to pull some data. I have been playing around with some uPnP code lately and found it does have commands to pull usage how ever it really depends on the router. Other than that I cant think of any other way.

Ah well, wishful thinking. Thanks anyway. Might keep it in the back of your mind while you learn more about the uPnP code.
