Title: Spoofing MAC Addresses
Post by: Declan2428 on July 14, 2015, 03:01:01 PM
Hi guys!
Im trying to bypass a MAC filter, I want my phone and tablet to use the same MAC Address as my parents tablet. I did my research and found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2286440 I downloaded everything but sadly it does not work (I have root and all other requirements). When I go through the process it seems to work but when I look in settings the MAC Address is unchanged but I am not able to connect to the wifi network anymore. I am using the Galaxy Tab 2 with Cyanogenmod 10 (or 11).

Please help me to get this work!
Edit: if this doesn't work because of cyanogenmod I will try rooting my old Galaxy Y and do the spoofing thing on there and proceed to use it as a WIFI hotspot.

#1 Only one computer can have a MAC Address within a subnet at a time.

#2 If you are on your parent's computer network:

a) You must abide by (follow) their rules.

b) With no ifs and no buts!

c) Any problems with that, take it up with them.

#3 If you really want access to the Internet outside of their hours that they let you use their network, get Internet Access outside of their network. Some examples:

a) Another Wi-Fi HotSpot that you have permission to use.

b) Your own Internet Access (3G, 4G/LTE, DSL, Cable)
