Title: After Port Forwarded, no WiFi
Post by: ccpyue on October 29, 2014, 07:51:04 AM
Hello, I have a Netgear WNR2000v4 WiFi Router. I used Simple Port Forwarding to forward my IP Camera's port which is 7777, successful. But After a while, my WiFi becomes  "Limited" and "No internet access". This happened to all WiFi users in the network. I have power off and on the router and  the cable modem, no help. Eventually I have to do a hard reset on the router, then I get back my normal WiFi.

Seem I only allowed to choose either Forwarding a Port or WiFi !!

Did anyone experience this, and/or anyone has a solution for this?

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a bug in the router. This is worth a quick read

So you can see that port forwarding shouldnt have an effect on the wireless or internet. So the first thing to do is to check for a firmware update for the router.

Thats because in the program for the router http port you put 7777 instead of port 80. The router settings section is used to tell the program how to log into the router, so change the http port back to 80
