And how much CPU does the Mini Monitor program use ? What OS do you use ?

@Shane: In the last month I also have experienced abnormal high CPU usage (>40%) upon start up when the Mini monitor "powers up". It does NOT happen every time I power up my laptop but it happens too often to be a "pain in the *ss". In the last 3 weeks my Win 7 doesn´t behave like it should as well. Win 7 simply has a little bit too much problems. Has CM the same problems as a previous version of Registry Backup had ?

Ok, does it seem to freeze when you come back in from locking it?

I am trying to find if there is anything I can go on to start looking :-)

OK, do me a fav and just keep an eye on it and see if you can find a common factor of what is causing it.

Once you find it I can try to replicate it here, and any bug I can replicate I can fix :-)

Where in the program did you right click, on the try icon or the monitor itself?

I havent been able to get it to happen here yet. Is there anything that happens before that would say? Like did the system ever go to the password screen before it happens?

last time when it happened i was not at login screen. it only happens when i try to rightclick the icon in the taskbar. but it not happens everytime when i do right click on it. i think that the problem is by windows because once i saw that a windows service was high with cpu and after it cleanmem so i think the problem is something when it wants to pull the info at the computer its going wrong.

Ah so it might be something else that is simply causing a side effect where when cleanmem mini monitor goes to pull system info it gets stuck in a loop or it sits there waiting for a reply from the windows api but never gets one.

The only thing that happens before the right click menu opens is a call to this api

Public Declare Function SwitchToThisWindow Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal hWindowState As Long) As Long

This switches focus to the menu so if you click away from it, it will disappear instead of staying.

Other than that nothing happens but showing the menu, which is just all text and nothing is ran at that time, not until you actually click something in the menu.

No need, there wouldn't be anything in there that would cause this.

I just need to find a way to get it to happen on my end.
